I Want to Be Wearing That: Priyanka Chopra's Chic Airport Sweats

When I'm wearing sweatpants, I'm wearing sweatpants. You can bet I have no makeup on. I'm in high socks and a hoodie (that coordinates with my slacks, if I had an extra two minutes to rummage through my drawer to find it). But Priyanka Chopra touched down from a flight in fabulous, cozy coordinates made of 100 percent Mongolian cashmere. She layered a long wool Gretel Z coat over her Mandkhai set, swept up her hair to show off her red lenses, and toted an Akris bag that matched her suede booties — with a heel.

Priyanka was in "going out" sweatpants, and she was ready to face whatever the day might throw at her, including the paparazzi. When I'm in my sweatpants, I'm generally ready to face a pint of fro-yo and a fistful of rice cakes with grape jelly and salted butter spread onto them. (What? It's my new go-to combination.) But I've been awakened. I want to become a sweatpants connoisseur like Pri. I want to command attention in baggy, ultrasoft clothes, because who knew that was possible? I'm officially ready to abandon my slippers, stuff the last few crumbs of rice cake in my mouth, and walk out the door in luxe, ivory PJs. Care to join?
