Katie Sturino Couldn't Find Matching Sets in Her Size, So She Created Them in ALL Sizes

When I chatted with Katie Sturino about her first collection for Stitch Fix, which is now available and appropriately inspired by Summers in Italy — which also happens to be Katie's honeymoon destination — we ended our conversation on the most critical note:

"It was really important to do this collection in not just extended sizing, but in all sizes. I get annoyed when I can't shop a collection, and I'm sure there are people that see the launch of a plus-only collection and say, 'Oh, well I can't wear that,' like my friends," Katie told me.

That notion is reflected in the gorgeous campaign images, which include fellow influencers and entrepreneurs Blair Eadie of Atlantic-Pacific and Courtney Quinn of Color Me Courtney. The diverse group of women model all the vibrant pieces, which retail from $54 to $98 and come in sizes zero to 24 and XS to 3X.

"So, which piece are you wearing first for your honeymoon?" I asked Katie. "I will fly in the red jumpsuit. I think I'll wear that on the plane, then I think I'll put on the long blue and white caftan right away." Katie was sure to include the caftans you see ahead because "it's really hard to find a quality caftan that is nice and in the right size because they're pretty free-flowing."

But that's not the only look Katie struggles to find in her size, and not the only option she wanted to offer her fans and Stitch Fix customers.

"I have a lot of problems finding a lot of different pieces. For this line, the matching skirt and top are something that you can't find in extended sizing. In this collection, we're not trying to make knockoffs or imitation pieces. We're trying to bring a unique collection to the market . . . This collection has been viewed through the lens of luxury fashion. Everything is what you'd want and expect from a nice contemporary brand."

Read on to check out the full range, which can now be sent via your own personal styling box, and keep tabs on Katie's honeymoon ventures to spot her in the caftan she created. I'm pretty certain she'll be posing in it and posting it on her page soon. I know I would do the same.
