The Lion King Teams Up With ASOS For the Fashion Collaboration of Our Childhood Dreams

ASOS Design and Disney's The Lion King have launched a colorful capsule collection that we can't wait to get our hands on. Starting today, you'll be able to purchase clothing and accessories adorned with your favorite characters from the anticipated Summer film, which premieres in US cinemas on July 19.

The collection includes womenswear, menswear, and unisex pieces. ASOS Curve and Plus styles will also be available, as well as tons of cute, collectable accessories. The collection is supercolorful, filled with rainbow prints that are inspired by the colors of East Africa's "Pride Lands": expansive golden savannahs, multicolored sunsets, lush green jungles, and vivid blue skies and waterfalls. Some pieces also feature graphics from some of the most iconic scenes of the movie, like baby Simba being held up by Rafiki over Pride Rock and Timon looking adorable while dressed up as a Hawaiian Hula dancer.

Our favorite pieces from the collab are definitely the '80s inspired track jackets, colorful Aloha-inspired shirts, tie-dye pieces, and the cloudy sky-printed mesh tops that look very similar to Motel Rocks "Angel Sky Mesh Top", which has gone viral on Instagram.
