The Venice Film Festival Red Carpet Has Seen 1 Colorful Dress After Another

Last year's red carpet at the 2018 Venice Film Festival was just a foreshadow for the exciting designs we'd be seeing in 2019. Clearly — with Timothée Chalamet and Lily-Rose Depp making a glamorous entrance in Haider Ackermann and Chanel, respectively — we had nothing to worry about. Meryl Streep also impressed the crowds and cameras in a floral satin Givenchy floor-length slip at the premiere of The Laundromat, and Sienna Miller wore an embellished Gucci gown to accept the Kineo International Award.

Models such as Sara Sampaio and Barbara Palvin made a couple of appearances, and newcomer Margaret Qualley hit the scene for the Seberg screening in dusty-pink Gucci ruffles. Of course, Cate Blanchett was a sight to see in Armani Privé, though, as far as fashion's concerned, we always presume Cate will be the belle of the ball. She might've chosen a black dress this time around, but her fellow actors brought along all the color, lest you thought we were working with a muted palette this season.

Scroll on to catch a bunch of different angles of your favorite stars dressed to the nines, all to promote their latest projects. We're sure you've already got a favorite outfit.
