Victoria Beckham's Latest Collection Is Bringing Us a Girl For All Seasons

At first glance, you'd be forgiven for thinking Victoria Beckham's Spring 2020 show was an Autumn collection, given the abundance of trench coats, long sleeves, rich colors like burgundy and burnt umber, and even a splash of houndstooth. Knitted separates, ruffled high necks, and suiting furthered this assumption, but perhaps Beckham's just being clever? Showing these in September just serves to make us more excited, because we want them now, not in six months time!

Soft, ruffled dresses in bright green, purple, and yellow were a highlight of the show, no doubt destined for a red carpet near you soon, along with a cream midi dress with a swirling signature print. That houndstooth suit, too, though perhaps not the kind of thing you'll wear frequently in the middle of a heatwave, was still a highlight of the show, and the perfect example of the kind of wearable, grown-up styles the designer has become known for.
