I can't even tell you where I got this San Fran City tee, but I can tell you that I started to sleep in it. It's so soft, I just refuse to get rid of it. I never thought about incorporating it into a city look or a going out outfit, but I ended up styling it with another item I hadn't reached for in months: my Chanel slingbacks (which you can still score on eBay, FYI). I pulled them out of their dusty box and coordinated the two closet veterans with linen trousers, a new mini Wandler bag, and one of my favorite vintage Oscar de la Renta silk headscarves. If you have a black-and-white t-shirt like this one, try throwing it on with the bright new bottom you just bought — be it a skirt or pants — that you can't wait to wear. You'll be shocked how cool you feel when you mix old and new.
