Rihanna, who recently launched her own Fenty line and has been showing off the label's shoes left and right, attended the Queen & Slim premiere at AFI Fest in Hollywood, sticking to her signature look as of late — it's all about the footwear. Rihanna slipped into a silk John Galliano robe from William Vintage and coordinated the look with a David Webb necklace and bracelets, along with Jimmy Choo's delicate Tatiana clutch. The lapels of Rihanna's number were cinched with a single button, allowing us a full look at her legs through a thigh-high slit.

Rihanna worked the cut at every angle, stepping forward to reveal a pair of strappy stiletto sandals and a diamond anklet, to attract even more attention that way. Though Rihanna's chunky jewels dazzled along her neckline and her smoky makeup was fierce, this leggy moment ended with the obvious: the little black sandal is where it's at.

In fact, despite cold toes in Winter weather, this is one of the biggest holiday trends we're seeing for 2019, and you can find plenty of options with shimmering rhinestones and crystals, too. While the shorter, minimalist sandal was all the rage this past Summer, a sky-high statement can be just what you need to ring in the new year.
