Sofia Carson Blends Dark and Light in a Couture Gown Evie Would Be Proud Of

Sofia Carson took on hosting duties at the UNICEF Snowflake Ball on Tuesday night, and such an important occasion called for a serious showstopper of a dress. She definitely delivered, choosing a black and white look by Giambattista Valli Couture, the latest of many incredible red carpet looks for the actress and singer.

Sofia's monochrome look featured an off-the-shoulder top with a satin bustier that gave way to soft tulle layers, worn over a sweeping white skirt. She added some serious holiday sparkle in the form of a diamond necklace and earrings by Chopard and completed the look with a rich red lipstick that wouldn't look out of place on her Descendants character Evie. The finished effect was the ultimate in festive chic, with an unexpected silhouette that looks elegant but unusual.
