I considered everything from oval brilliants to Ascher and carre cuts, but ultimately fell in love with this antique diamond's rhomboid shape and rectangular facets. To me, it's such a beautiful and unusual stone. We kept the rest of the design simple to allow the beauty of the stone to shine."
