Loungewear has never been a staple in my closet. I have workout leggings, dress-up dresses, office heels, cozy sweaters, and many, many pairs of jeans. Jeans, to me, are comfortable and what I wear when lounging around my house or on weekends. Then, last March, when our office moved to working from home, I felt the pressure to dress down my at-home wardrobe. It felt weird putting on "real clothes" if I knew I had nowhere to be. But after a few weeks, I realized that getting dressed wasn't just for other people, it was for me. When I wore my favorite pair of denim, I felt more put together, accomplished, and ready to face the day. And I'm not the only one to feel that way. I polled the rest of the POPSUGAR fashion team to see how they wear denim while working from home and share the denim staples from Old Navy that we turn to when we're looking for a comfortable, yet stylish, look. Check them out ahead.

High-Waisted Button-Fly Rockstar Super Skinny Ankle Jeans

"Black skinny jeans are classic and versatile. I love how easily they can be dressed up or down, and this high-waisted superskinny ankle pair ($35, originally $45) will be on heavy rotation for me this fall. I'm looking forward to wearing them with a simple cropped hoodie ($35) and black and white sneakers ($30) for a casual vibe. But I also love them with a striped mock-neck sweater ($25, originally $35) and a long peacoat ($60). Either way, these jeans are flattering and chic!" — Kathleen Harper, style editor

"My go-to denim style is a high-waisted straight leg ($40) that is slightly cropped at the ankle. I find them to be really flattering and also comfortable to wear all day. I like to style with a slightly fitted tucked-in black tee ($6) and printed cropped cardigan ($40). I always try and add personal touches with layered gold necklaces and delicate rings." — Dana Avidan Cohn, executive style director

Sleeveless Tie-Belt Utility Jean Jumpsuit

"Considering how soft this jean jumpsuit ($40, originally $50) is, it's basically the denim equivalent of pajamas. Perfect for when I want to feel comfortable but look presentable. I'd layer it under a camel cardigan ($30) for a cozy vibe or over a puff-sleeved blouse for a more dressed-up feel." — Stephanie Nguyen, senior style editor

Extra High-Waisted Sky-Hi Straight Jeans

"I find that ultra-high-rise styles ($38, originally $40) are the most flattering for me, and they help to elongate my legs. I'd style these with a heather gray cardigan ($25) buttoned all the way to the top, half-tucked into the waistband, and an easy, sophisticated mule ($24, originally $30)." — Sarah Wasilak, fashion editor

Mid-Rise Distressed Boyfriend Straight Jeans

"I can't get enough of boyfriend jeans ($35, originally $45). I love that they're a little bit baggy and add a laid-back factor to any outfit combination, whether you choose a cardigan ($25) or a hoodie ($20)." — Nikita Charuza, fashion editor
