After discovering the most comfortable pajama set earlier this summer, I knew exactly what retailer to go to in my continued efforts to beef up my PJ game for the colder temperatures ahead: Old Navy, obviously. I searched through over 170 pajamas and eventually found exactly what I wanted for the season, the Cozy Pointelle-Knit Romper ($25), a PJ romper that feels festive.

This one-piece look is much more than just something to sleep in. It's a literal dream that you step into. The inside is incredibly soft, and feels more like a fleece blanket than clothing. The piece itself is lightweight and loose fitting, and the buttons snap with ease. The sleeves are long and unrestrictive, which is exactly what I wanted, and as a sweet surprise, they also have delicate, ruffled edges. It comes in two shades, but since I'm really leaning into the holidays, I bought it in bright red.

Mornings are always chilly where I live. I'm an early riser, too. The first thing I do when I wake up in this PJ romper ($25) is throw on a soft gray cardigan. It ties the whole look together, and to be honest, I've worn the whole thing outside of the house — because why not?

I sized up in the Cozy Pointelle-Knit Romper ($25) because I don't like sleeping in tight pieces, and I'm so happy I did. You can see just how loose the fit is around the legs and body, which is exactly what I was looking for. If you prefer a tighter fit, I'd recommend ordering your true size.
