When beloved lifestyle brand Frame launched its initial Le One collection — skinny jeans with enough versatility and give to be offered in only two sizes (size 1: 23-28; size 2: 29-34), the hype was real and the intrigue level high. How could one pair of pants fit six different waist sizes and countless different body types? But the success of the November 2020 skinny — which is made from innovative fabric that incorporates organic cotton and recycled poly, also reducing the brand's carbon footprint — has led to a new cut of the same sustainable quality. With the recent comeback of '70s trends, including wide-leg slacks, Frame rolled out a flare just in time for fall 2021.

The company designed a silhouette with a high waist that is meant to lengthen the leg and is shoppable in two colorways: Keller and its dark-wash alternative, Larsen. The idea behind Le One is that bodies naturally change and your wardrobe should evolve with you — especially if you're investing $238 in well-made denim that is meant to be timeless and treasured for years to come. But it also makes online shopping easier if you are in between sizes or generally wear a wider range, depending on the retailer. With Frame's Le One Flare, it's likely you'll get your size right the first time with only two options to choose from.

When eight POPSUGAR editors put these flares to the test, we exchanged notes and confirmed three things to be true: 1) These jeans are stretchy, comfortable, and flattering, so if you haven't had success with flares, or any denim for that matter, these are the ones to try. 2) With a 34.5" inseam, shorter women will have to get these puppies hemmed (you can't exactly make universally flattering clothes in two sizes while sacrificing length), so account for the added tailor bill upon checkout, or have scissors at the ready. 3) These jeans are keepers, and none of us regret adding them to cart. Ahead, read eight reviews about Frame's game-changing Le One Flare, and click through to the site if they sound good to you, too.

"These were snug and deliciously soft but not so thin that I was missing structure."

"I'm 5'1" and have a petite frame with athletic legs and a booty, so denim shopping has never been easy for me. To this day, I've never bought a pair that fits right in length but isn't too tight on my thighs. I'm between sizes and usually buy a 24 if the jeans run big, but sometimes end up exchanging for a 25. The frustration is real! While I like the look of a wide cut on me and feel that it gives off the illusion of longer legs, I haven't tried a formfitting flare in a while. Well, aside from these being about six inches too long (I folded under the extra fabric for the photo), these were snug and deliciously soft but not so thin that I was missing structure — something I look for in all my denim. I'm not afraid of a DIY cut and distress, so consider that weekend project on my to-do list." — Sarah Wasilak, editor, fashion

"There's something so flattering about the way these jeans hug my body; it's almost like they were custom made for me. The wide legs took me out of my comfort zone, but they give me an effortlessly confident air when I walk around, which is a winner in my book. The fit is secure yet not limiting, and the silhouette is polished and versatile." — Shelcy Joseph, assistant editor, commerce

"They almost feel like jeggings (if you remember what those were like)!"

"It's hard to believe these jeans fit five other waist sizes, because they feel like they were made for me and my usual size-25 waist — minus the length, but we'll get into that later. As the description promises, the Le One Flare is super stretchy and buttery soft, which means they slide right on and are the ideal jean for easing back into high-waisted denim. They almost feel like jeggings (if you remember what those were like)! But instead of cutting you off, the flare truly gives the illusion of longer legs. Really, my only issue with these jeans was the length. I'm 5'2", and the jeans were about a foot too long (I rolled them up here), but as soon as I get in with my tailor, I imagine I'll be wearing 'em pretty regularly." — Yerin Kim, associate editor, trending and viral features

"With the resurgence of '70s style, I've wanted to venture into the flare-jeans world for a while now but couldn't find a pair that worked for my body. Enter this Frame pair. I was skeptical if the sizing method would actually be as good as it sounds, but the hype is real. The super-stretch fabric made me feel comfortable, and the high-rise waist is exactly what I want out of jeans (sorry, no low-rise here!). The only drawback is that my short legs were no match for the length of these pants — but I love them enough that a quick hem will make it all worth it." — Karenna Meredith, associate editor, trending and viral features

"I think I just found my new go-to pair of jeans for fall. I am typically a 29 or 30 in denim, so I opted for the size two in these pants. They are stretchy but don't bag out, making them great to wear over bodysuits. The high-rise fit sits right above my belly button, and the longer length looks cool with heels. Overall, the fit is great, and I would definitely come back for more washes of these jeans. We found a winner!" — Macy Cate Williams, senior editor, commerce

"When I first heard about Frame's new two-size-only flares, I was . . . skeptical. I'm curvier on the bottom, and shopping for jeans has never really been a welcome experience for me. That said, a flared silhouette is quite flattering for me, and so I tried to hush my skepticism as much as possible. Lo and behold, they fit! And well, too! The material felt supportive yet stretchy, and the wash was perfectly classic. I would, however, prefer if the jeans had a slightly higher rise, and I'll also add that these are incredibly long. I'm 5'10" and would have to wear heels to get the hems right, so bear that in mind before buying." — Kelsey Garcia, senior editor, trending and viral features

"My skepticism instantly faded away when I slipped on the jeans and they fit like a freakin' glove."

"Denim shopping has always been an endless cycle of failed try-ons for me, so I frankly didn't get my hopes up too much when I received Frame's newest addition to its 'one-size-fits-six' collection, the Le One Flare. My skepticism instantly faded away when I slipped on the jeans and they fit like a freakin' glove. The material is so stretchy and comfy, and they actually make me look like I have a booty! I will admit that my jeans were a bit longer than expected (I'm 5'8", and there were about two to three inches of extra material on the floor), but it wasn't even noticeable once I styled them with some heeled booties." — Victoria Messina, editor, trending and viral features

"My first impression of the jeans was that they were incredibly soft, and once I put them on, I realized they are just as stretchy and comfortable as the description promises. I am 5'7" and typically wear around a size 26, so I fall in the middle of the size 1 range. They were the perfect level of high-rise without being too high up, however, the jeans were definitely longer than I expected. Heels and a hem, and they're the perfect universal stretchy pair!" — Perri Konecky, senior editor, trending and viral features
