Kith announced its Women for Aaliyah collection just in time for International Women's Day, and several pieces sold out in hours. Ranging in price from $70 to $170, the hoodies, shirts, and vintage tees all feature never-before-seen photos of the late singer taken by photographer Robert Whitman. In partnership with the Aaliyah Estate, Kith is dividing 100 percent of the proceeds evenly between the Detroit School of Arts, Aaliyah's performing arts school alma mater, and the I Support the Girls foundation, a nonprofit that distributes essentials to women in need.

Aaliyah's brother Rashad Haughton, who manages the Haughton Estate, talked about his decision to team up with Kith on the project: "I'm a huge fan of Kith and all that [founder Ronnie Fieg] has achieved, in taking that first store in Brooklyn and expanding it into a brand that touches the four corners of the globe. Aaliyah was born in Brooklyn, grew up in Detroit, and went on to touch the whole world with her light and creativity. That's why I felt that Kith would be the perfect partner to release unseen photos of my sister on their incredible fashion designs," he said in a statement.

Kith also visited the next generation of students at DSA to gift them the apparel and film them performing, and the result is an inspiring video and campaign you can see after the jump.
