Rihanna Wears the Maternity Version of That Viral Crisscross Bra Top

Rihanna's maternity style revolves around her baby bump. Since announcing her pregnancy in an open pink Chanel puffer back in January, she's been wearing a variety of bra tops and cropped silhouettes, even attending Paris Fashion Week in a sheer lace dress. And on March 12 in Los Angeles, the star and entrepreneur again wore a belly-baring outfit to celebrate Fenty Beauty's launch at Ulta Beauty.

Styled by Jahleel Weaver, Rihanna's outfit consisted of a silver long-sleeved, crisscross halter top — a throwback silhouette that has found new life on TikTok — and matching embroidered column skirt by Coperni. It was a custom iteration of a similar look modeled by Gigi Hadid during the Parisian brand's spring 2022 runway show. Rihanna completed the outfit with a diamond Messika body chain, Repossi hoop earrings, an oversize pearl statement ring, and an arm stack, including a David Webb bracelet and Hammerman Jewels cuff. Though barely visible, it appears Rihanna also wore a pair of silver pointed-toe sandals.

That wasn't Rihanna's only daring look of the night: following the event, she changed into a custom all-black leather outfit finished with over-the-knee boots by Amina Muaddi.
