Cate Blanchett instantly had all eyes on her at the 2016 BAFTAs, wearing what looked to be a gown from Alexander McQueen, complete with an embellished floral bodice and black bottom. It turned out it was really two separate pieces, however, as evidenced by her 2020 re-wear at the Venice Film Festival when she swapped out the skirt for pants.
