If you're obsessed with "Queer Eye" as much as we are, you've probably dreamed of getting fashion advice from Tan France. Well, this holiday season, France is sharing his tips for everything from festive fashion to gift shopping. His partnership with Klarna — a shopping platform that allows you to pay in installments — is one way France stays on top of it all. The Klarna app lets you shop from a wide range of retailers and create collections to keep things organized. France especially loves its price drop feature that sends you a notification when an item on your wishlist has a price reduction. If you're shopping for someone who's indecisive, France is a huge proponent of gift cards from a store or brand they adore. His pick? A gift card to Goldbelly for colleague and friend, Jonathan Van Ness.

When it comes to holiday style, France believes it's all about embracing fun, whether it's rocking an ugly holiday sweater or wearing something glitzy to a New Year's party. "Go in, it's the holidays!" he says. In fact, he only has one rule about what to avoid. "Don't be that party pooper who's like, I'm too good for the holidays, and I want to do what I want to do. Stop being a curmudgeon, like actually enjoy it."

As for holiday traditions, France and his family have a unique one they've been doing for over ten years. "We put up our Christmas tree on Halloween, and we keep it up until Valentine's Day," France says. He doesn't worry about anyone judging. "I don't care, it brings me joy."

France loves to listen to "Last Christmas" by Wham! and watch the "Wizard of Oz" as well as the "Sound of Music" to get into the holiday spirit. His favorite dish during the festive season is a Pavlova, a meringue-based dessert.

Beyond sharing his advice for holiday shopping, fashion and festivities, France let us in on his current product obsessions. From a travel-friendly white noise machine to a stylish pair of classic Converse sneakers, these are France's must-have items.

Tan France's Affordable Must Have: Benefit Cosmetics Boi-ing Bright On Brightening Concealer

France loves the Benefit Cosmetics Boi-ing Bright On Brightening Undereye Concealer ($24) for anyone looking for the perfect everyday concealer. The concealer has lightweight wear with a serum-like hydrating formula that seamlessly blends into your complexion. Its glowy finish delivers long-wearing coverage while looking natural and skin-like. France doesn't wear much makeup but loves to get camera-ready by dotting it on a blemish or dark circles for an awakened look.

Pro Tip: Van Ness gave France a concealer tip that he's never forgotten: "Use concealer as an area rug, not a carpet." France further explains that dotting your concealer rather than swiping it onto your complexion helps to give it a more natural appearance rather than a cakey, full-face look.

Tan France's Investment Must Have: Anthropologie Vanina Les Gouttelettes Bag

The Anthropologie Vanina Les Gouttelettes Bag ($575) is something he adores for a bold and playful look, especially for the holiday season. The bag has a stunning pattern of iridescent natural shell paillette sequins and gold plastic sequins with gold-plated beaded accents. "Here's how I would legitimately style it, and how I love styling other fancy bags I have: by balancing it out with jeans and a T-shirt," France says. He loves juxtaposing something simple with something so extra. "I'm usually covered in jewelry, and if I can just wear as much jewelry as physically possible with a white T-shirt and a pair of stonewashed jeans, in my opinion, that's the height of sophistication," France explains.

Pro Tip: France recommends combining something super glam like a sparkly dress with timeless and simple accessories and a staple bag, or a plain look with something bling-y, like this going-out bag. He cautions that going all in with a glam look and matching it with equally glam accessories can be a bit too much.

Tan France's Morning Routine Must Have: Bosch DesignLine 1.7 Litre Kettle

As a true Brit, France can't complete his morning routine without a kettle, and the Bosch DesignLine 1.7 Litre Kettle ($44) is his favorite. He loves that this kettle takes about a minute to two minutes to boil water. When asked to convince us why we should use a kettle over a microwave or a pot of boiling water, he responded with a stern, "okay, eww microwave, no," immediately shutting it down as an option. France is not a fan of coffee machines and prefers a percolator or a cafetière. His coffee routine is simple and efficient. "I like to boil the kettle, it takes me a minute, fill my cafetière or percolator, and then my coffee is ready in about five or six minutes, and it's a gorgeous coffee," he says. His go-to tea is PG Tips, and his coffee of choice is the Starbucks house blend or Starbucks Pike Place.

Pro Tip: France pointed out that boiling water in a pot is more time-consuming. If you're an avid tea or coffee drinker, investing in a kettle is an efficient gadget that will deliver the water you need at the right temperature in just a few minutes. "We're not wasting any time with a pot," he explains. The Fellow Stagg EKG Electric Gooseneck Kettle ($195) is a stylish option available in the US. It's an editor favorite as well; read our in-depth review of the Fellow Stagg EKG Electric Kettle.

Tan France's Sleep Must Have: Snooz White Noise Machine

With his busy travel schedule, Tan has difficulty falling asleep with the sounds and distractions of the outside world, especially in city life. The Snooz White Noise Machine ($100) drowns out the external hustle and bustle, so he can sleep soundly. "You can sleep anywhere because it blocks out pretty much every noise unless there's a massive sound," France explains. This white noise machine has a real fan inside for a calming, soothing sound that doesn't feel manufactured. It has 10 volume settings and lets you adjust the fan tone. The accompanying app lets you create schedules to automatically turn on and off and control the white noise machine remotely.

Pro Tip: Besides the white noise machine, France loves a spritz of lavender mist on his pillow for a soothing aroma.

Tan France's Must Have Sneakers: Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Classic Unisex High Top Shoe

France's go-to pair of sneakers is the classic Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Classic Unisex High Top Shoe ($65) in white. "I always have a pair of them in my closet because they go with a suit, they go with your jeans, they go with a dress, they go with a skirt," he explains. France has been sporting these classic high tops since he was 17, so he's been a tried and true Chucks fan for 21 years and counting! Besides sock sneakers, France claims that these are the most comfortable pair of sneakers on the market. They come in a wide variety of colors as well, and you can even customize them.

Pro Tip: "In my opinion, if you are struggling with what shoe to pair with anything, even with a tuxedo, go with the Chucks," France says.
