Ben & Jerry's is nearly as famous for its activism and social justice mission as it is for its decadent, creative pints, so its newest flavor, Save Our Swirled, which calls attention to climate change, is hardly a stretch for the brand. Save Our Swirled is being released as part of the ice cream company's Save Our Swirled campaign, which asks fans to sign a petition asking world leaders to commit to 100 percent clean energy by 2050.
What does this have to do with ice cream? This video from Ben & Jerry's sums it up perfectly (and is visually arresting to boot).
The flavor itself is a summery combination of raspberry ice cream with marshmallow, raspberry swirls, and dark and white fudge ice cream cone bits. Fans of fruity ice creams like strawberry will get the most mileage out of the pint, which has a concentrated, jammy raspberry flavor (think Chambord without the boozy kick) punctuated by even sweeter swirls and chunks of white and dark chocolate. Dark chocolate bits add balance, though not quite enough for some tasters — our main (minor) complaint is that the pint could use a greater volume of these.

Overall we felt it was a winning flavor with a winning cause to match.
