Midday snack cravings can be the end of your healthy-eating goals. That's why we partnered with Dannon Light & Fit for this post.

Once the midafternoon hits, I start craving something — it never fails. Certain days, the need for something crunchy is beyond overwhelming, and my tummy starts grumbling for a salty nibble. When the need to snack hits, instead of succumbing to those unhealthy hankerings, make easy and healthy yogurt bark that you can grab and eat straight from the freezer. It looks like it is a serious indulgence, and it is — but without the guilt.

It starts with a creamy vanilla yogurt base that's swirled with honey. You can mix things up and go with a flavored yogurt, like strawberry or even chocolate, for a really delicious spin on this recipe.

Slivered almonds add some crunch, while flavor bursts of sliced strawberries and blueberries are big antioxidant boosters. A sprinkling of toasted coconut ups the fiber for this treat while adding a tropical touch.

Really. So good.

Ingredients

  1. 2 cups Dannon Light and Fit Greek Vanilla yogurt
    1 tablespoon honey
    1/4 cup slivered almonds
    1/4 cup strawberries
    1/4 cup blueberries
    1/4 cup toasted coconut

Directions

  1. Cover a sheet pan with parchment paper, then measure and add the yogurt and drizzle it with the honey. Spread the yogurt with a spoon, swirling in the honey, creating an even layer.
  2. Sprinkle the yogurt with the almonds, strawberries, blueberries, and coconut, pressing the ingredients gently into the yogurt.
  3. Freeze for at least 4 hours, peel away the parchment paper, then break the bark into small sections. Store in a sealed container in the freezer for easy snacking.
