No Need to Wait in Line For That Burrito Bowl — Chipotle Announces Delivery

Waiting in the long, winding line for your burrito bowl at Chipotle can be a bit of a buzzkill; but soon you won't have to. Thanks to a just-announced partnership with Postmates, you'll now be able to get your hands on your go-to order from the Mexican chain for as little as a $4.99 delivery fee (plus tip).

The fine print: Chipotle delivery via Postmates isn't actually new — according to Postmates CEO Bastian Lehmann, $500,000 worth of Chipotle orders were made in the first quarter of 2015. What is different is that the partnership officially sanctions this business, meaning prominent placement for Chipotle in the Postmates app and a lower-priced delivery than what was previously available. (Delivery fees for Chipotle orders will range from $4.99-$7.99, plus a standard 5 percent service fee, and tip, even when surge pricing is in effect.) That is, provided you live in one of Postmates 67 markets.
