Inside-Out Burgers With White Barbecue Sauce
From Sarah Lipoff, POPSUGAR Food

Ingredients
- For the sauce
1 cup Greek yogurt
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1 teaspoon chopped chives
- For the burgers
1 pound ground beef
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper
Directions
- Mix together the yogurt and barbecue sauce along with the chopped chives and set aside.
- Divide the ground beef into four and then form into balls. Create an indentation in the ball, making a nest for the shredded cheddar. Fill each with one fourth of the cheese.
- Grill the burgers over hot coals or a medium-high grill, three to five minutes per side or until the cheese starts oozing out from the burger.
- Top with the creamy barbecue sauce and your other favorite additions, like grilled onions, lettuce, tomatoes, or even spinach.
