Spokesman Matt Prince said the pricing of the cantina's menu will be the same as those in regular Taco Bell locations. However, there will be more unique food options such as tapas-styled nachos and rolled tacos.
According to Taco Bell, the company has shifted from drive-throughs to more modern restaurant settings in an effort to appeal to millennials and urban dwellers. The first Taco Bell Cantina will open in Chicago, followed by a second location in San Francisco later this month. The company expects to add 2,000 more stores by 2022.
