Wine Glass That Doesn't Spill

This Spill-Free Wine Glass Is Here to Solve All Your Clumsy-Girl Struggles

Raise your hand if you're guilty of ruining carpet or a beloved white shirt because you spilled a glass of red wine. *Raises hand.* If that sounds like you, you're going to freak out over this ingenious spill-proof wine glass invented by San Francisco-based company Super Duper Studio. It's called the Saturn Wine Glass, which is entirely handmade, glass blown, and guaranteed to keep your wine from spilling, even as it's rolled around on the floor. I definitely had to see this to believe it, but the company's video is pretty convincing — watch as the glass filled with red wine remains upright.

The only catch is that such a smart invention doesn't come at a low price. The glass is sold at one online retailer for $52, while it's listed for $46 on Super Duper Studio's site. The team behind the invention, Chris Yamane and Matt Johnson, are happy to explain the reasoning behind the price. "To prepare the material for each cup, the molten glass is shaped by hand before being blown into a mold by glass artisans. Each glass is then annealed overnight (a process which cools the glass slowly to relieve material stresses), cut, and polished by hand," the product's description reads. The most reassuring part is the glass comes with a 30-day return policy as well as a one-year warranty. Would you invest in this spill-proof wine glass? Let us know in the poll below!
