Boughs of holly? Pshh, I'm decking the halls with bottles of wine, thanks to Costco's latest boozy offering. The wholesale retailer recently began stocking up on wine Advent calendars, and it looks like they're flying off store shelves faster than you can say, "Pass the corkscrew!" Each calendar is stocked with 24 half-bottles from across the globe and only costs $100, which is a pretty great steal if you crunch the numbers on what two dozen 375 ML bottles would cost if purchased separately.
There's a Pinot Grigio from Italy, a French Malbec, a Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, and do you really need me to keep going? Just get your booty to the nearest Costco and snag a calendar for yourself before they sell out. Good luck resisting the urge to pop open your first bottle before Dec. 1 arrives! May we suggest pairing this one with Target's glorious cheese-filled Advent calendar?
