The release date for the next installment of Star Wars is fast approaching. The final days leading up to the premiere will likely involve nothing but deciding whether you belong to the Dark Side or the Light and of course rewatching the previously released movies. What better way to celebrate the reawakening of the Force than to throw a Star Wars-themed cocktail party? These punny cocktails, created by our friends at Colangelo and Partners, will tickle even the most serious Chewbacca impersonator when garnished with Dark Side ice cubes and tiny Jedi.

4 ounces chilled Prosecco DOC

1 ounce blood orange

1 ounce white peach puree

Pour the blood orange and white peach puree into a chilled flute and top with Prosecco DOC.

1 ounce Amaro Lucano

2 ounces red wine

0.8 ounces tonic water

0.5 ounces sugar syrup

Mix the drink directly in the martini glass and serve with a slice of lemon and orange, a sprig of mint, fruits of the forest and ice.

Stir all ingredients. Strain. Serve over rocks, garnish orange peel.

0.75 ounces freshly squeezed lime juice

0.5 ounces agave nectar

1 ounce champagne

Build all ingredients except the champagne add ice shake and strain into a martini glass. Top with one ounce of champagne and garnish with a long lime twist.

2 ounces Rum Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva

1/4 ounce simple syrup

½ lime, cut into wedges

5 large chunks fresh cut pineapple

5 fresh mint leaves, mint sprig for garnish

Ice

In a cocktail shaker, muddle pineapple chunks, mint leaves, lime wedges and simple syrup for 30-35 seconds. Add ice and rum to shaker and shake vigorously. Strain in to chilled glass, garnish with pineapple wedge, lime wheel and mint spring.
