Indiana: Sugar Cream Pie

Sometimes called Hoosier sugar cream pie, Indiana's state pie is exactly what it sounds like: sugary, creamy, and decadent. It dates back to the 1800s and was categorized as "desperation pie," aka the pie you made when fresh fruit wasn't around.
