IHOP Is Officially IHOb, and the Internet Has a Lot of Feelings About It

IHOP teased the news that it was flipping the letter P in its name to a B, and we finally know what it stands for. IHOP has officially changed its name to "IHOb" with the "b" standing for burgers. The change isn't permanent, a company spokesperson told USA Today, but was made in an effort to promote its new burger line. That's right, folks; IHOP is releasing seven ultimate steakburgers — all while keeping its breakfast options on the menu.

"The big opportunity for the IHOb brand is to develop our lunch and dinner business. Burgers are most consumed entree item for men, women, and children in America," Chief Marketing Officer Brad Haley said in a press release. He also added, "it made sense to start with burgers."

The internet had a field day after IHOP announced it's now IHOb. The range of emotions over the name change is out of this world. Keep scrolling to see some of the reactions.
