Mindy Kaling Ranking Random Oreo Flavors Is the Type of Content We Needed Today

When Mindy Kaling found out it was National Oreo Day on March 6, she did what any self-respecting Oreo-lover would do: she ranked random flavors. She shared a delightful Instagram Story with riveting real-time reviews of six of the most memorable Oreos: Birthday Cake, Mint, Lemon, Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie, Red Velvet, and — newest to the club — Most Stuf. No, this was not sponsored, and yes, Mindy really does just love Oreos as much as you do (reason 4,567 she's relatable).
"Believe it or not, this is like one-third of the amount of Oreo cookies that are actually out there, but I couldn't imagine being able to eat 50 Oreo cookies in a sitting, so this is our sampling," Mindy said. (Fan-favorite S'mores Oreos were not invited to the party, but that's because they don't return until Spring). The actress went one by one and delivered an honest review of each cookie, and if you've tried 'em all, you'll probably agree. First Up: Birthday Cake Oreos
Better luck next time, Birthday Cake. Mindy deemed the supersweet Oreo "good," but it only managed to snag a three out of 10 rating. "When you open up the package, real pungent smell," she said.

Middle-Ground: Mint Oreos
Mindy is not the biggest mint-chocolate fan, but she had to applaud the "beautiful contrast of green and brown." She gave it five points — not bad! — and noted the obvious "Thin Mint vibes."

A Classic: Lemon Oreos
It's hard to get mad at a Lemon Oreo. Vanilla cookie, bright, citrusy creme — it's a classic. In Mindy's words, "Real classy. The kind you'd have if your grandmother came over!" Even so, the judge gave it a weak four out of 10.

Fire Alert: Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie
No other flavor got the fire-filter treatment in Mindy's series — that's how good Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie is. "This is a crazy flavor. Beautiful cookie," she said. Eight points to Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie!

"Pretty Darn Good": Red Velvet Oreos
Red velvet baked goods are usually polarizing — you either love or hate them. "I'm not the biggest red velvet fan, but I think this is pretty darn good," Mindy said of the cookie that was released in 2015. The cream cheese frosting "tastes like frosting you'd get from a tub," she said, and she's not wrong. Six points to the cookie in red.

The Clear Winner: Most Stuf Oreos
Every other Oreo flavor can take a backseat, because the moment Most Stuf hit shelves in January, the game was officially changed. Mindy said that B.J. Novak is actually the one who introduced her to them. "Just an obscene amount of creme," she said as she ogled the cookie.

"Oh my god, this is so good," a visibly blissful Mindy said of the giant Oreos. Ten outta ten, no questions asked. *Cue angelic music*
