No Food Is Safe From Being Smothered in Trader Joe's Pumpkin Butter

As a friendly warning to my knives: Over the next few months, you will be forced to deal with my continuous licking and double dipping in jars of Trader Joe's Pumpkin Butter. The Fall favorite item has been spotted at Trader Joe's locations over the last few weeks, and it has me scheming the endless amount of things it can be eaten with. I'm talking pancakes, bagels, biscuits, apple slices, french toast, banana bread — the limit does not exist! And of course, I have every intention of eating it on its own.

Among the long list of delicious pumpkin-flavored items the Trader Joe's grocery gods release every year, Pumpkin Butter has been a staple for shoppers since it debuted in 2008. At less than $3 a jar, the fat-free and surprisingly butter-free item is a must. It's simply made with pumpkin, sugar, honey, lemon juice concentrate, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, and nutmeg, and it spreads like perfection.

The grocery chain known for its beloved Cookie Butter added to its lineup of drool-inducing spreads last month when it released Cinnamon Bun Spread, and the revival of the Pumpkin Butter has our knives working overtime. Check out photos of shoppers enjoying the delicious seasonal spread ahead, and make sure to pick up a few jars of Pumpkin Butter on your next Trader Joe's grocery run.
