Oreo's New Rainbow Cookie Boxes Are Modeled After 5 Different Pride Flags

After introducing the first rainbow cookies during LGBTQ+ History Month in 2020, Oreo is celebrating Pride Month with even more colorful cookie arrangements. Beginning on June 29, the brand will offer 3,000 OREOiD Pride packs modeled after the traditional Gilbert Baker Pride flag, the bi+ Pride flag, the lesbian Pride flag, the pansexual Pride flag, and the trans Pride flag.

In addition to releasing the new cookie packs, Oreo collaborated with four LGBTQ+ artists — Zipeng Zhu, Bráulio Amado, Kris Andrew Small, and Phaedra Charles — to illustrate the "Proud Words" of parents and allies on colorful posters. Intended to inspire members of the LGBTQ+ community and their families to open up about these conversations, each poster includes first words people said when their loved ones came out to them with the words they wish they'd said layered on top.

"Finding the right words to say can be challenging for LGBTQ+ people and their families, especially during those first coming-out conversations," PFLAG National representative Brian K. Bond said. "PFLAG has spent nearly 50 years helping families navigate those challenges, because family support and acceptance are critical to the health and wellbeing of LGBTQ+ people." As part of Oreo's continued partnership with PFLAG National, the brand will also donate $50,000 to "support the organization's mission of bringing LGBTQ+ people, families, and allies together to celebrate and support one another."

To get your hands on the limited-edition OREOiD Pride packs, you must be at least 13 years old and a resident of one of the 50 US states or Puerto Rico, and eligible fans can pick from five different combinations of color creme fillings to reflect their favorite Pride Flag.
