I Tried the Truff Hot Sauce, and It's Like Nothing I've Ever Had Before
You may or may not know that my husband and I are huge foodies. We're constantly on the lookout for game-changing kitchen additions, ranging from practical tea kettles to sweet, savory, and all-around flavorful spices.
When we discovered the Truff Truffle-Infused Hot Sauce ($72), we embarked on a whole new kind of culinary adventure. The brand sources fresh and healthy ingredients, combining them into a variety of flavors you've probably never tried before. There are three levels of heat in the variety pack: mild, mild white truffle, and hot. Each bottle is unique in composition, but they're all combinations of truffles, red chilies, and sweet nectar. You get a unique sauce with a thick texture and a tangy finish.
After a few days of experimentation, I happily concluded that my favorite in the trio is the hot sauce. I've spread it over scrambled eggs and burritos, and I can't tell you how much of a difference it made. My taste buds can definitely handle some heat, but the flavor was bold without being overpowering. It's rich in jalapeños, red chili peppers, black truffle, organic agave nectar, and other savory spices, resulting in a hearty taste.
