They blanket the center and run the length of the table just as though it were fabric," Jennifer says of this wedding tabletop trend. "For a clean, streamlined look, the runner may consist of one kind of flower in a solid color; for example, hydrangea or roses. For the traditional, a blend of roses, hydrangea, and orchids create an elegant statement."

"Centerpiece collections with multiple vases allow for personal expression and style," explains Jennifer. "The look can be eclectic with vessels in varying shapes, sizes, and materials; uniform and minimal with a grid of several square vases filled with floating blossoms; or traditional when pairing glass or silver candelabras with mercury glass vases."

"It's the unexpected 'wow' moment when you see flowers suspended from the ceiling," Jennifer exclaims of the dramatic ceiling treatment trend. "For a sleek modern look, ceilings or chandeliers covered with solid white calla lilies, tulips, or orchids are spectacularly architectural. Alternatively, a rustic garden wedding may have ceilings composed of textured bittersweet and kiwi vine. And for the romantic bride, a ceiling covered in soft blush roses and peonies would be a dream!"

Jennifer is a big fan of the composite bouquet trend popular with contemporary brides. "Composite bouquets are simplicity at its best. An oversized single flower, often in the shape of a rose, is composed from a plethora of individual rose petals," she says. But, she warns, this bouquet is best handled by a pro, not left to a DIY bride.

Today's brides are looking beyond traditional fresh blooms. Jennifer explains, "for the earthly bride, sculptural driftwood centerpieces adorned with air plants and succulents are an organic look — and they can also be appreciated for several weeks following the wedding."

A beautiful venue is nice, but it's no longer necessary. Today's brides are creating picturesque spots to exchange vows with floral walls. Jennifer explains, "Floral walls are a fresh, modern alternative for ceremony backdrops." She also notes that they're a great place to put your personal touch on the nuptials. "Whether it's a moss wall with monogrammed initials, an intricate pattern of blooms, or a solid partition of roses, each makes a memorable statement!"
