A lot of books cross my desk, but few capture my attention like Bad Girls Throughout History ($20 preorder). This beautifully illustrated hardcover book would look lovely on your coffee table, but would serve you better on your nightstand where you can be inspired by the 100 bad (more like badass) girls featured inside. From necklaces to artwork, I'm a big fan of the evil eye. And I love that this Good Vibes Only print ($40) keeps evil intentions at bay while looking super stylish. The black and white photo could be strategically placed in your foyer, layered on a gallery wall, or made a focal point in your office.
Creative Lighting Solution
If you you live in an old apartment like I do, odds are you're familiar with their unusual lighting needs. My extraordinarily long, dark hallway, closed off from natural light, has been a challenge. So, I was thrilled to discover the 7-Light Constellation-Sconce ($199). Instead of installing an overhead pendant, I can simply mount it on my hallway wall or any boring surface that needs a little interest and glow.
