Style Dos Every Closet Should Have

Albertina decided to punch up the pretty lilac shade on her walls by adding gold trim. To keep costs down, she painted the walls and trim herself but hired a carpenter to measure, cut, and apply the trim to the walls.

Using the same leopard fabric from Calico to create a tiny roman shade and seat cushion gave this seating nook a glamorous, custom feel. How cute is the lavender grosgrain ribbon detail on the shade? Albertina added that herself!

Blue and white ginger jars and pretty boxes look elegant but also come in handy for stashing things.

To keep the lavender theme going, Albertina painted an inexpensive HomeGoods mirror in a slightly darker shade of purple. A snakeskin tray adds a graphic pop while keeping her perfume bottles in one place.

You don't need a walk-in closet to enjoy the graphic pop of a small rug. Albertina placed a two-tiered table on her rug to serve as portable storage. We also can't help but gush at the gold deer head — perfect for hanging necklaces.
