HGTV Elbow Room Host Chip Wade Shares the Best Backyard DIYs
The 9 Backyard DIYs That Will Give You the Most Bang For Your Buck
HGTV host Chip Wade knows a thing or two about backyard makeovers. The Atlanta-based contractor is a pro when it comes to helping homeowners customize interior and exterior spaces to fit their lifestyles and needs. He shows his skills on the HGTV series Elbow Room, the fourth season of which debuted Saturday, May 16.

We spoke with Chip, who is also currently working with Liberty Mutual Insurance as its new New Beginnings Expert, to find out which projects homeowners can undertake on their own. Renovating your own backyard, Chip says, "clearly is going to provide not only that personal life touch, which I'm a huge advocate of, but also gives you a way to save a little bit of money."
