Home Depot Issued a Major Recall on This Lighting Fixture

After 108 reports of falling shades, Home Deport is recalling the 3-Light and 4-Light Comotti Vanity Fixtures from their Home Decorator Collection. The chrome glass shades may look stylish, but they're not staying put — and to dangerous effect: one falling shade caused a laceration to the head and burn on the arm and another caused a laceration on the leg. Yikes! Luckily, Home Depot isn't messing around with customer safety. They say anyone who purchased one of the vanity light fixtures, sold from December 2014 through March 2017 for between $95 and $110 should contact Design Solutions International immediately to receive replacement light shades and replacement instructions free of charge.
