Ask any interior designer about his or her method for choosing the perfect paint color, and you'll undoubtedly get the same answer: paint swatches. Painting eight-inch by 10-inch swatches of whatever paint you're considering and checking them out in different lighting might be a foolproof method, but it's also a ton of work, not to mention cleanup.

When Fixer Upper host Joanna Gaines partnered with Kilz to create her paint collection, she also made sure there was an easy, mess-free way to test the colors. The solution?
