This Hack For Hiding an Ugly AC Unit Is Genius!

Mara's brother traced and measured where the AC unit would fit and cut a space for it in the back of the shelf. To hide the unit when it wasn't being used, they added two cabinet doors and pretty gold hardware.

When the AC unit isn't being used, the cabinet doors are closed.

In the Summer when it's used frequently, the cabinet doors stay open, but the shelves and decorative accessories are miraculously distracting.
