This morning we hosted an official ribbon cutting ceremony at the new Market. Grand Opening is TOMORROW and we can't wait! Comment below if you'll be there!Posted by Joanna Gaines on Thursday, October 29, 2015
It's a very exciting time for Fixer Upper star Joanna Gaines, who just cut the ribbon on her new and improved Magnolia Market, a home decor boutique specializing in her signature fresh, America-style goods.
Joanna's original shop quickly outgrew its tiny storefront in Waco, TX, so she and husband Chip went looking for a bigger space. In true Fixer Upper form, they fell in love with historic silos; rundown, yet full of potential, they were ripe for the couple to convert. You might recall some of the purchasing process was covered at the end of Fixer Upper season two. Nearly a year of renovations ensued, and the construction, which Joanna has been lovingly chronicling on her Instagram account, wrapped this Fall.
The ribbon cutting was Oct. 29, and the shop officially opens on Oct. 30. Those of us who live far from Texas may have to miss out on shopping at the silos, but we can always purchase Magnolia Market's goods online.
