Grammy Awards Star Kelsea Ballerini Invites Us Into Her Gorgeous Nashville Home
Kelsea Ballerini has swept the country charts as of late, even entering mainstream music stardom when she performed with Lukas Graham at the Grammys. But when the busy singer wasn't touring, hanging with her pal Taylor Swift, or spending time with her fiancé over the past year, she was decorating her gorgeous new Nashville townhouse. "It's the first big-girl thing that I've ever bought, so I knew that I wanted it to be something that I would feel comfortable coming home to," she said.
Online interior design company Laurel & Wolf stepped in to help the busy singer design a stylish home base. Kelsea worked with designer Kimberly Winthrop. Her goals for the space were simple: make it feel cozy and special. "I spend so much time on the road, it's important to have that home base," she said. Kimberly did not disappoint. The ubergirlie closet room is every woman's dream wardrobe space, from the floral walls to the rose gold hanging shelf rods.
A rustic and cozy music room is decorated with nostalgic paraphernalia from her career, like her first guitar and awards. "This is my favorite room in the world because I feel like it's such a heartbeat of everything I love," Kelsea said, adding, "It's hard for me to write on the road. To have a room like this that has big pieces of me all over the place and is filled with music and inspiring things . . . I feel like other inspirations will follow." In the main living area, a natural palette sets a subdued tone, while creative accents, like a head-turning guitar art display above the kitchen, make the space feel uniquely Kelsea's.
