If You Thought Whitney Port's Wedding Was Beautiful, Wait Until You See Her Home

Whitney and Tim's Venice Beach home is a work/live artist's loft complete with soaring ceilings, poured concrete floors, and stylized wire railings. "It has an industrial feel," explains Whitney, who wanted Orlando to help her warm the space up.

Orlando suited the space to Whitney down to the accent pieces, which reflect her polished bohemian style and love of fashion.

For the makeover, Whitney explains, "We wanted to make sure the white walls were filled with tons of artwork and that the furniture was cozy and inviting." Orlando responded by painting the walls a cheerful Robin's-egg blue and adding beachy accents like this oversized ocean print and warm wooden console.

"Before the transformation, our screening room was filled with a mish mosh of Timmy and my various pieces of furniture from our previous dwellings," explains Whitney. While there are still some eclectic accents, it's now a much simpler, more streamlined space.

It's no coincidence that the decor and accents designer Orlando picked are all the perfect representation of Whitney and Tim's style. "I gave him inspiration and told him briefly
about my aesthetic and he just understood it. I had trust in him and that is priceless!" gushes Whitney, who loved that she could be hands off with the nitty gritty of the design process.

"The gallery wall is just a show stopper!" gushes Whitney. "It's the perfect backdrop for our new screening room."

An upholstered Morrocan poof adds soft, rich texture to the space while also providing extra seating for guests.

The deep-blue rug was a favorite of both Whitney and Orlando. The designer says he picked it because its vibrant hue referenced the nearby ocean while its plush texture softened up the concrete floors. "The rug makes it really homey and has a traditional aspect to it which we love," summarizes Whitney.

Geometric coasters reflect the contemporary industrial vibe of the space, but look best when balanced with upholstered pillows and feminine flowers.
