A $22 Stencil Made This Bathroom Unrecognizable

If you've been looking for a way to overhaul the look of your bathroom without dropping big bucks on tile or installing pricey wallpaper, then you should consider stencils. That's exactly what Thrift Diving blogger Serena did, and the results are breathtaking.

Serena used gray paint and a $22 trellis stencil to transform the top part of her bathroom wall. She topped it off with DIY crown molding. To give the bathroom a truly elegant look, she painted the bottom half of the wall white and installed a chair rail to divide the two sections. As if her bathroom makeover wasn't beautiful and affordable enough, Serena added a gorgeous vintage gold mirror above the vanity she found at her local thrift store for — wait for it — $7! One glance at the pictures, and it's clear that stencils can yield some shockingly dramatic results for a great price.
