You might want to add Waco, TX, to your list of vacation spots, because Fixer Upper stars Chip and Joanna Gaines are opening up their own Magnolia hotel, and you can bet there's going to be shiplap. In a post on their Magnolia blog, the husband-and-wife duo shared a video announcing their newest project — and it's a big one. As part of their goal to open up the hotel in 2021, Chip and Joanna will be renovating a 53,000-square-foot county office building located downtown, just blocks from Magnolia Market — that's huge!

When the transformation is complete, the three-story boutique hotel will feature a grand ballroom, a full restaurant, a rooftop terrace, and a café, all decorated in the classic Fixer Upper style, of course. "The hotel's design will evoke Joanna's affinity for timeless, classic details, while also preserving the building's rich history and highlighting its distinctive architectural features," according to a press release.

We have a ways to go before we can actually stay at Chip and Joanna's hotel, but that just gives us even more time to plan a family-friendly visit to Waco. Check out the Magnolia blog for progress updates on the hotel, and for cute photos of Chip and Joanna's newest baby boy Crew.
