Craving a Tropical Getaway? Janelle Monáe's Insane Punta Cana Villa Might Not Help

Janelle Monáe won us over during award season with her monochromatic ensembles and her groundbreaking roles in Hidden Figures and Moonlight, but now she's taking a much-deserved vacation in a stunning villa in the Dominican Republic. The singer-turned-actress took off with friends to stay at Villa Sirena, a private estate in the heart of Punta Cana, courtesy of booking.com, filled with every luxury amenity one could imagine in a vacation home.

The villa can host up to 14 people — we wonder if Janelle's BFF Solange was in for the trip! At $20,000 a week, Villa Sirena comes with a butler, a chef, and a relaxing outdoor patio featuring an L-shaped pool and jacuzzi. Guests are encouraged to take advantage of all the incredible things that the 26-acre villa has to offer, including scuba diving, kite surfing, horseback riding, and so much more. With the white-sand beach just six minutes away by foot, we can only imagine all the great sun that Janelle and her crew are enjoying. If tropical getaways and palm trees are your thing, you're going to obsess over the photos of this villa.

She took to Instagram to thank booking.com for taking care of her during this incredible vacation. "First mini break of the year. Thank you @bookingcom for the inspiring trip," she captioned the photo below.
