Joan Smalls is featured in the September issue of Elle Decor, and her airy Miami apartment will provide you with major decor inspiration. The 31-year-old supermodel told the magazine she wanted her space to feel "breezy, cool, and comfortable" to offset her hectic, jet-lag-filled lifestyle. She enlisted the help of RH, Restoration Hardware's Interior Design concierge-level services, to get the chic, beachy look she wanted.

The result is a relaxing hideaway amid sweeping views of Miami that has just the right amount of "stuff" but not too much. On her design inspiration: "A lot of the time, my eye is drawn to more masculine shapes in furniture and not soft and delicate ones. The colors balance it all out."
