Annie Lindsley (pictured above) loves to celebrate people. For her daughter Olive's first birthday, she wanted to find something special that would allow her two sons to also participate in the typical "blowing out the candles" tradition. Inspired by a German Waldorf ring, she decided to take matters into her own hands. The result? A massive candle centerpiece that she knew "would be a hit with our kids!"

Her personal creation became a business idea, and thus, Aglow was born. The Utah-based company now sells the giant bases and candles together or separately, for those looking to add a little light to their next party. And let's face it, they make a pretty incredible Insta opportunity.

Lindsley told POPSUGAR she's received an "outpouring of support from people all over the USA and globally" since launching the centerpiece. She's seen it used for birthdays, baby showers, graduations, and holidays. While social distancing means parties are off the table for most Americans right now, her creations are also a fun way to spice up family-only events or mark special moments at home. "It has been fun to see all of the different ways people have chosen to celebrate with Aglow," she said.

Although the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted Aglow (like many small businesses), Lindsley has still found a silver lining in giving people something special for their homes. Lindsley is busy preparing to launch a new product later this year, but in the meantime, she hopes to "continue to share our love of celebration, light, and traditions" through Aglow.
