Samuel uses this geometric rug by artist and textile designer (and fellow Lulu & Georgia collaborator) Élan Byrd in the sunroom of her "Mulberry Modern" home from episode one. The graphic pattern grounds the space, brings dimension to an otherwise muted room, and mirrors the greenery visible through the windows.

Mi&Gei Toilet Paper Roll Holder Forme N°12 ($87)

Samuel truly thinks of every detail when it comes to designing a space — down to the toilet paper holder. The organic shape of this artisanal, handmade brass toilet paper holder brings a softness that counteracts the often boxy, structural functionality of bathrooms. Plus, it's one of the more affordable pieces she's featured.

Rachel Donath The Safari Chair ($2,100)

Samuel may often prefer plush, cozy textures when it comes to seating (e.g. bouclé, velvet), but bringing in a little leather can help balance the softness and anchor a room. This chair brings a relaxed elegance to the "Mulberry Modern" sunroom, and the spherical details tie into the soft edges Samuel loves.

West Elm Kids Sarah Sherman Samuel Arches Bed ($1,299)

While only the living room transformation is shown on the show, Samuel designed the whole "Mulberry Modern" house, including several kids' bedrooms, and shared plenty of updates on Instagram during the process. This bed is featured in the girl's room, but it's elegant and elevated enough to work for a grown-up bedroom, too. It's available in a range of fabrics and colors, but the white bouclé feels the most SSS.

Zia Tile Pomelo Cement Tile ($7)

While Samuel isn't immune to using pops of bold color, she doesn't often use graphic patterns in the same way in her designs (preferring to let the texture of natural materials act as the pattern in a space) — except for in a nursery or kid's bedroom or bathroom. These spaces are where she'll get really playful with design, layering in multiple patterns and colors through the use of tile, wallpaper, and textiles.

For a girl's bathroom in her "Mulberry Modern" project, she covers the shower in this cement tile. The mismatched circles create an irregular pattern, but the overall effect is still soothing thanks to the bone and white color combination. She also uses these fired clay tiles from the same brand to cover the floor.

Lulu & Georgia Sparrow Wallpaper by Rylee + Cru ($148)

Speaking of wallpaper, Samuel opts for this delicate sparrow design for the "Mulberry Modern" girl's room, and this organic stripe design from her own collection for the boy's room.

Cedar and Moss Terra Surface Flush Mount Light ($279)

Escape the dreaded "boob light" flush mount with this stylishly modern option from artisan lighting brand Ceder and Moss. Samuel uses these throughout the "Mulberry Modern" house, from the hallways to the bathrooms. She also frequently uses this brand in her own home.

Lulu & Georgia James Accent Chair by Sarah Sherman Samuel ($2,598)

Not one, but two of these statement accent chairs frame the living room in the "Mulberry Modern" home. Between the scrumptious faux sherpa and the rounded corners, it's the ultimate cozy piece you'd want in any room — it's no wonder Samuel herself declared it her favorite piece from her collection.

This modern bunk bed shown in the "Mulberry Modern" boy's room is ideal for small spaces — you can sleep three with the bottom pull-out trundle, or use it for storage instead.

Swimming Birds Wall Art by Mary Ketch ($51)

For the nursery transformation in episode two, Samuel really leans into bold pattern play between the textured wallpaper, checkered rug, and wall art. Even though there's a lot of prints happening in one space, Samuel keeps everything in neutral tones and leans into pattern scale. She mixes small-scale patterns with larger ones, like this canvas print above the dresser.

Kalon Studios Caravan Crib ($1,495)

Samuel is no stranger to repurposing furniture and giving a second life to pieces in different spaces. This crib for the nursery in episode two is actually a hand-me-down from Samuel's own daughter's nursery. It can convert into a toddler bed or even a platform-style bed/bench down the line.

The "Modern Spanish" home in episode five is one of the bigger projects Samuel tackles on the show, with a complete transformation of the sprawling living room. The space is so big, in fact, that she ends up using two of these rugs to create the effect of one giant rug. You can almost always count on Samuel using one of her rugs from her Lulu & Georgia collection in her projects — this same rug is also used in the living room update to the "Midcentury Modern" home in episode six!

In episode five, Samuel mentions how using low furniture and sunken seating in a space with tall ceilings can help emphasize its height.
