Cleanse-a-Rita Cocktail Recipe


  1. 1 1/2 ounces tequila
    2 ounces lemon juice
    1 ounce water
    1 teaspoon agave syrup
    Cayenne pepper


  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine tequila, lemon juice, water, agave syrup, and small pinch of cayenne pepper with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously until cold.
  3. Pour into a rocks glass.
  4. Garnish with a lemon wedge dusted with salt and cayenne pepper.

Alternative preparation:

  1. Use a store-bought lemon cayenne agave juice, such as the one from BluePrint.
  2. Pour 3 to 4 ounces into a shaker with ice.
  3. Combine with tequila.
  4. Shake until cold.
