Eva Longoria cohosted the exciting launch of the newest addition to Elizabeth Taylor's fragrance empire — White Diamonds Night ($68) — on April 5 in New York City. The Telenovela star dazzled in a strapless silver gown that hugged her petite curves in ways that her character Ana Sofia Calderon would totally appreciate.
I met her at the Midtown event to chat about the launch, and though the conversation was mostly about perfume (she's into "clean" scents, by the way), Eva snuck in a standout fashion tip that, frankly, everyone should follow.
"Alter everything," she said. "Nothing fits off the rack. Your dry cleaner has a [tailor], and it's usually $5. So, you can really customize your wardrobe to fit your body better. I [even] alter my t-shirts. I'm short, too, so everything's way too long for me."
And there you have it! Eva Longoria's clothes fit her like a glove because they are tailored to do just that. What are you waiting for? Grab all your ill-fitting garments and make your way to the nearest seamstress.
