Eva Longoria and Stephen Colbert Turn the Presidential Election's Most Dramatic Lines Into a Telenovela
No one can deny the presidential race is a little intense right now — the team at The Late Show With Stephen Colbert even thinks it's a little over the top on the drama. That's why they put together a soap opera with the some of the most shocking (and hilarious) lines said by some of the candidates during the past few debates. Of course, Colbert had the perfect guest to take part in this acting challenge: Telenovela's Eva Longoria, who recently also showed off her melodramatic acting chops on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (and her lip-syncing skills during a performance of Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda").
"I want to remind everybody out there: we did not write anything you're about to hear. These are transcripts of actual things that were said between people, adults, who want to be president of the United States," Colbert said before launching into novela-worthy lines, like "Hillary has spent her entire life in a quest for power; she's avoided prosecution more times than . . .
