Fifth Harmony is fierce on the March 2016 cover of Seventeen. The girl group — made up of Latina members Ally Brooke Hernandez, Lauren Jauregui, and Camila Cabello, as well as Normani Kordei Hamilton and Dinah Jane Hansen — is gearing up for their album release later this year, after enjoying much-needed some time off over the holidays.

In the interview, they opened up about their new music, future, and even that somewhat controversial Camila and Shawn Mendes duet — all while looking super cute in white outfits that reflect their individual personal styles. Keep reading for a sneak peek at their cover story, which hits newsstands on Feb. 9, then, check out one of their hottest performances yet.

  • Dinah on their new music: "We want to share real stuff that's been happening in our lives. Over the past year, we've experienced love and heartbreak, and it's taken a toll on us. You can't always show that you are confident, because that's not the truth."
  • Camila on backlash for her solo collaboration with Shawn Mendes: "It's been so difficult to watch people criticize me and my intentions. It's been sh*tty. They turned me [doing the song] into a conspiracy theory. We literally just wrote a song backstage, and it ended up becoming something awesome. It wasn't a career move that I carefully planned out."
  • Lauren on the future: "I don't see us still doing this [in 10 years], but by then I hoped we'll have toured the world and won a couple of Grammys for songs we are really passionate about."
